  The Water

Using potable water, it goes through several filtration processes until it is usable for window cleaning. The water is then measured to record the level of impurities. For example potable water in Hull is around 350 ppm (parts per million) of dissolved solids, ie salt, lime and other particles.

We aim to achieve around 0 ppm after filtration. Let’s say the water measures 1 ppm, that means there is 1 litre of impure water diluted into 1 million litres of pure water.

The Pole

A wide range on the market from aluminium to carbon fibre. Capable of heights in excess of 70ft.

The Feed

Mostly van mount systems consisting of a tank to hold the pure water, a water pump, hose pipe.

The Method

The water is pumped from the water tank up the pole. The brush scrubs the window clean and then after a good rinse off the window is left to dry for a spotless finish.

F.A.Q.

Won’t the window dry streaky?

If it’s been cleaned correctly and rinsed the water left on the window should evaporate without leaving any marks.

I like the window sills cleaning?

Not a problem, Smart Cleaning use radius brushes which are specially shaped to enable window sills to be cleaned.

I prefer traditional window cleaning

We can accommodate traditional in some instances but for reasons of safety WFP is the preferred method. Did you know one of the main causes of accidents is when working at height, ie off ladders.
